How we handle your information. This is a plain-language summary, not attorney-reviewed legal advice.
Account details (name, email), listing information you provide, booking and message content, payment and payout metadata, identity-verification results (pass/fail status from Stripe — we do not store your ID document), and launch-notification emails you submit.
To operate the marketplace: create and secure accounts, process bookings, payments and payouts, verify renter identity, review listings, send transactional and launch emails, provide support, and prevent fraud and abuse.
We share only what's necessary with the service providers that make SpareHours work — primarily Stripe (payments, payouts, and identity verification) and our email provider. We do not sell your personal data.
We keep account, listing, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes.
You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing hello@sparehours.net. Some records may be retained where required by law.
